Our private English lessons for adults basic program is inclusive of a minimum of 15 hours one-to-one tuition, full board accommodation and a number of excursions/activities per week. The minimum length of this course is one week. We also offer an advanced program hello inclusive of 20 hours.
Based on the initial diagnostic test on arrival, the teacher plans an individualised programme. This is a general English programme which concentrates on all four foundational skills, as well as pronunciation and intonation . This programme is designed to maximise exposure to the language both during English lessons and through social activities. Our teachers are professional native English speakers with years of experience in English tuition.
All meals are taken with the teacher and their family to optimise the opportunity for conversation. Students can arrive on any day of the week to facilitate booking flights at competitive rates. We accept bookings throughout the year, even at short notice.
We also offer a Fast track General English programme for adult learners with limited study time over three or four nights.

The private lessons for adults program is designed for students over 18 years old. Students wanting to improve their English for work purposes, for travel, self improvement or just for fun, can benefit from an English tuition programme. This programme is suitable for anyone from beginner level to advanced/proficiency level . A diagnostic test on arrival ascertains the students level, and once completed, a bespoke programme is created accordingly.
A basic or more advanced program is offered. This program offers immersion into a family giving ample opportunity for conversation at meal times and during excursions.
Students select their programm and tutor, prior to arrival. On the private lessons for adults program students can select a basic 15 hours or more advanced 20 hours program.
Students live with their native English teacher as part of the family, and have ample opportunity for conversation most of the day. Lessons are taught in the mornings, after breakfast, allowing time for designated excursions or activities in some afternoons. During free time, students can self study or go out and explore on their own. This is not a 24 hour service.

On our private English lessons for adults program , students have their own private bedroom, unless on a 2:1 program, where a twin room is shared.
Typically, the bedroom has a comfortable single or double bed, hanging space for clothes, a set of drawers and a desk and chair for private study. In some homestays, there is a TV in the bedroom.
If there are any special dietary requirements, we must be informed prior to arrival.

Programs are inclusive of a designated number of excursions or activities. These are determined largely by the interests of the student.
A sporting activity, tennis, horse riding, golf , swimming, visiting a museum or castle, cinema, a visit to a pub, theatre, or a shopping trip are among the possible trips to consider. Many outdoor activities will of course be weather dependent.
Two half day excursions can be changed to a full day, by mutual consent. Full day excursions take place at the weekend.
On 2 to 1 programs when students have different levels of English, lessons are individual but excursions are shared with one teacher.

We offer a meet and greet service at all airports. We can arrange and / or advise on transfers from any port of arrival in the UK including Eurostar at Ashford International. Transfers can be arranged at the time of booking and are added to the invoice.
Should a student prefer to arrive independently to the homestay, they are given all the necessary instructions on how to get to the local station. The teacher will meet the student at the local railway or bus station.

We also offer a more intensive adult program inclusive of 20 hours of one to one tuition and two half day excursions at £1295 per week
