English for children 14-17 years

Course Description

Our English homestay for children UK program  offers students the opportunity to live as part of a British family. Students are immersed into the language and culture through lessons and a strategically arranged social program. Hobbies and interests are taken into consideration, when placing a student in a family. We endeavour to match a student with the most compatible family available.

All our teachers have been vetted by us and hold a DBS ( police check) as well as a safeguarding children certificate. On our English homestay for children UK program, students are embraced and welcomed as part of the family where daily speaking practice is guaranteed.

Language is learnt, not only during lessons but also in context, during the family’s daily routine as well as sharing activities and excursions. We have teachers who are qualified to teach dyslexic students if specialist teaching is required. We can also organise a themed homestay focussing on a specific activity, on request.

Who is it for?

The English homestay for children UK program  is for youngsters between the ages of 14 and 17 years old.

We also offer a program for under 14s which includes cocooning during the whole stay.

Teachers cater for children of all levels from A1/A2 beginner and upwards.

A student’s level will be assessed prior to arrival and the program planned according to the evident language needs.

This program includes formal lessons but is geared to language learning in context. We understand that youngsters sometimes have a lower concentration span and therefore, we endeavour to make the learning fun through activities and excursions.
