English homestays for juniors under 14, offer students the opportunity to live as part of an English family. Given that they are very young, we offer a cocooning service. Cocooning entails constant supervision and daily activities throughout the stay.
Juniors are immersed into the language and culture through lessons and a strategically arranged social programme.
Hobbies and interests are taken into consideration, when placing a young student in a family. We endeavour to place a junior with children of a similar age. As all our teachers are in loco parentis, we ensure that they hold an enhanced DBS ( police check) as well as a safeguarding children certificate.
On English homestays for juniors under 14, students are welcomed as part of the host family where daily speaking practice is guaranteed. Language is learnt, not only during lessons, but also in context during the family’s daily routine, as well as while sharing activities and excursions.
We have teachers who are qualified to teach dyslexic students. We can organise a themed homestay focussing on a particular activity, on request. Contact us with your requirements

The English homestays for juniors under 14 programme is for youngsters between the ages of 10 and 14 years old. Teachers cater for children of all levels from A1/A2 beginner and upwards. A junior’s level will be assessed prior to arrival and the programme planned according to the language needs.
This programme includes formal lessons but is geared to language learning in context. We understand that youngsters sometimes have a lower concentration span and therefore, we endeavour to make the learning fun through daily activities and excursions.
Students can select their preferred activities, prior to arrival. Lessons are normally taught in the mornings by the teacher after breakfast, allowing time for excursions or activities in the afternoons. A full programme is offered so that learning is ongoing with no time to be homesick!
